Every EV Model Available in the U.S. for 2026: A Comprehensive Guide to Range, Efficiency, and Price
Today, electric vehicles (EVs) comprise a smaller segment of the overall automotive market, but their appeal continues to surge as manufacturers expand their vehicle range, performance, and aesthetics, and as EV charging becomes increasingly convenient. Shoppers seeking emission-free driving now face a diverse list of models to choose from, spanning a wide spectrum of body styles and price points. To simplify the decision-making process, we have compiled them all into a single guide to help you choose the best EV for your family, lifestyle, and driving habits. Please note that this list includes only those EVs powered by the nation’s electrical grid, excluding fuel-cell vehicles that utilize electricity but are powered by hydrogen.
Audi A6 e-tron
The Audi A6 e-tron can be considered the electric equivalent of Audi’s long-established gas-powered A6 sedan, combining stylish yet refined design with exceptional driving range. It is also available in a sportier S6 e-tron variant that delivers nearly 500 horsepower.
Audi e-tron GT
The Audi e-tron GT essentially offers a Porsche Taycan experience within an Audi shell. It is a performance-oriented and enjoyable sports sedan that is neither particularly spacious nor budget-friendly.
Audi Q4 e-tron
The Audi Q4 e-tron is Audi’s compact electric SUV, sharing mechanical components with the Volkswagen ID.4. The Q4 e-tron is offered in two versions: a traditional SUV and a Sportback model with a more coupe-like roofline.
Audi Q6 e-tron
The Audi Q6 e-tron is a compact luxury electric SUV that is approximately seven inches longer than the Q4 e-tron. Audi also offers the performance-focused SQ6 e-tron, which features a more potent dual-motor powertrain. Both the Q6 and SQ6 are available as Sportback variants with a sloping roofline.
BMW i4
The BMW i4 is an electric four-door fastback that serves as the entry-level EV for the German brand in the U.S.
BMW i5
BMW’s electric answer to the gas- and hybrid-powered 5 Series is the i5, arguably offering superior driving dynamics among mid-size BMW sedans.
BMW i7
Flagship luxury meets electric performance in the BMW i7. Despite its size, the i7 is notably efficient in eDrive50 guise, boasting an EPA combined rating of 90 MPGe and up to 321 miles per charge. Achieving these maximum figures requires refraining from ordering the optional 20- or 21-inch wheels, as either option reduces both range and efficiency slightly. Regardless of wheel choice, the i7 offers a quick yet quiet ride with an interior that is both luxurious and thoroughly modern.
BMW iX
While the BMW iX’s design may be polarizing, its elegant interior and all-wheel-drive battery-electric powertrain are sure to impress. A performance variant, the M70 xDrive, delivers an astonishing 650 horsepower.
Cadillac Optiq
The Cadillac Optiq is a compact luxury electric SUV that utilizes the same platform and powertrain as the Chevrolet Equinox EV. It is also offered with a performance-oriented V-Series model.
Cadillac Lyriq
Cadillac’s first entry into the luxury electric SUV category is the stylish Lyriq. It shares battery technology with other high-profile GM EVs, including the GMC Hummer EV pickup, but features a more upscale presentation. The rear-wheel-drive model offers the maximum range. The all-wheel-drive model adds an additional electric motor to produce a combined 500 horsepower. In contrast to Caddy’s sports sedans, the Lyriq adopts a more comfortable, cruising-focused driving demeanor, and its quiet cabin provides ample space for both passengers and cargo.
Cadillac Vistiq
The Cadillac Vistiq is a mid-size luxury electric SUV with three rows of seating. It slots above the Lyriq and effectively replaces the gas-powered XT6.
Cadillac Escalade IQ
The Cadillac Escalade IQ is a full-size luxury SUV that carries over the first part of its name from Cadillac’s long-running gas-powered titan, but features an electric powertrain under its bold bodywork. Cadillac also offers an IQL variant that is 4.2 inches longer, providing enhanced third-row legroom and cargo space.
Cadillac Celestiq
The Celestiq is an ultra-luxurious, full-size luxury sedan, measuring over 18 feet in length and packed with cutting-edge technology and premium materials. Each Celestiq is a custom-ordered, bespoke vehicle with a starting price of around $340,000.
Chevrolet Bolt
The Bolt returns after a brief hiatus as Chevy’s smallest and most affordable EV, starting at just $28,995.
Chevrolet Equinox EV
The Chevrolet Equinox EV is a compact electric SUV with a starting price just under $35,000.
Chevrolet Blazer EV
Apart from being a mid-size, two-row Chevy SUV with aggressive styling, the Blazer EV shares little in common with its gasoline-powered counterpart. The Blazer EV comes in three trim levels: LT, RS, and SS. A variety of drivetrain configurations are available, ranging from a modest single-motor, front-wheel-drive setup for the base LT to a high-performance 550-plus horsepower dual-motor all-wheel-drive system for the SS. Additionally, there are two lithium-ion battery packs to choose from. Range varies depending on the battery and motor configuration.
Chevrolet Silverado EV
Despite sharing its name with the conventionally powered Silverado truck, the Silverado EV is a purpose-built design and is offered in a wide range of configurations, from a work-ready truck to the high-powered 760-hp LT and the off-road-tuned Trail Boss.
Dodge Charger Daytona
The Dodge Charger Daytona is an electric muscle car and Dodge’s first foray into electric vehicles, offered as both a two-door coupe and a four-door sedan.
Fiat 500e
The Fiat 500 hatchback returns to the U.S. market for 2026, this time exclusively as an electric model, as indicated by its 500e designation. While this small Fiat exudes style, its driving range is somewhat disappointing. Though the EPA has yet to release an official estimate, Fiat advertises an estimated 149-mile range for this sub-$40,000 city car.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
It may lack two doors and a V-8 engine, but the Ford Mustang Mach-E possesses the aesthetics and driving dynamics worthy of the Blue Oval’s pony car heritage.
Ford E-Transit
The Ford E-Transit is an electric version of the automaker’s popular full-size cargo van, available with a choice of three roof heights and either a long or extended-length body.
Genesis Electrified GV70
The Genesis Electrified GV70 replaces the standard GV70’s gasoline powertrain with a pair of electric motors powered by an 84-kWh battery pack. With 483 horsepower, the Electrified GV70 accelerates to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, making it the quickest member of the GV70 family.
Genesis GV60
Although it shares its mechanical underpinnings with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6, the Genesis GV60 offers its own distinct character. Its design incorporates several nods to other Genesis models, including dual-element headlights, but overall it presents a more whimsical appearance. It is both quick and enjoyable to drive. However, to unlock the most engaging driving experience from the GV60, one must opt for the Performance model, which is slightly less efficient.
GMC Hummer EV Pickup
Weighing in at over 9,000 pounds, the GMC Hummer EV pickup is one of the heaviest passenger vehicles currently on sale. Choosing a top-trim, triple-motor variant makes it one of the quickest as well. The maximum towing capacity stands at an impressive 12,000 pounds for dual-motor models, although hauling heavy loads significantly impacts range. When not towing, the Hummer EV pickup can travel up to 314 miles on a single charge, according to the EPA. Therefore, if you are seeking an EV with impressive range, immense power, a premium price tag, and substantial bragging rights, this might be the truck for you.
GMC Hummer EV SUV
Like its pickup sibling, the GMC Hummer EV SUV delivers massive power and exceptional off-road capability. As large as the Hummer EV SUV is, it is actually lighter than the pickup, thanks to the SUV’s smaller battery pack and reduced overall length. Despite its lower capacity, the SUV’s battery pack achieves the same EPA-estimated 314-mile range as the Hummer EV pickup. However, we only observed around 250 miles in our tests.
GMC Sierra EV
The GMC Sierra EV is a full-size electric pickup truck with a bold design, closely related to the Chevrolet Silverado EV.
Honda Prologue
The Honda Prologue is an electric mid-size SUV that is closely related to the Chevrolet Blazer EV.
Hyundai Ioniq 5
Competing with models such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 offers buyers a range of options combining value, exceptional driving dynamics (Ioniq 5 N), or enhanced soft
